Volunteers Needed For The Great Race

On Saturday, April 5th, thousands of runners will be pounding the pavement through the streets of Fountainwood to participate in the 40th annual Great Race!
As you can imagine, a race of this magnitude requires a lot of support from the community. More than 350 volunteers are needed to perform a variety of tasks, including handing out registration packets, operating checkpoints along the routes, and working at water stations. Individuals, adults, friends, family members, clubs, and students can volunteer, with students able to earn community service hours. Volunteers will receive an exclusive race shirt as a token of appreciation and to wear while volunteering so runners can easily identify them. Volunteers are needed at stations in Fountainwood, Oak Park and Old Agoura. They are also needed with prep work on April 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Students are able to help after school, as their schedule permits.
